Riley provides the vision, leadership, and execution behind the church’s annual kids camp, creating a high-impact discipleship experience designed to help children encounter Jesus, build relationships, and grow in their understanding of Scripture.
Each year, Riley leads the development and implementation of a week-long camp experience serving 550+ children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. From initial vision and theme development to final execution, he oversees every aspect of camp operations while leading multiple teams and hundreds of volunteers.
Provides overall vision and leadership for annual kids camp, creating engaging environments that combine biblical teaching, discipleship, community, and fun.
Leads a team of 300+ volunteers, including adult leaders, student leaders, and ministry teams, ensuring every area of camp is equipped and prepared.
Builds and develops leadership teams responsible for small groups, worship, activities, electives, hospitality, safety, production, and operations.
Creates systems and processes that allow camp to operate effectively while maintaining a strong focus on child safety and spiritual impact.
Leads the creative vision and execution of the camp environment, including full set design and construction to create an immersive experience for children.
Develops themes, storytelling elements, stage environments, and visual experiences that help children engage with biblical truths.
Collaborates with ministry teams to create memorable moments that connect Scripture to the lives of kids.
Oversees all camp programming, including small groups, electives, worship experiences, games, meals, schedules, and volunteer coordination.
Creates age-appropriate environments where children can learn biblical truths, build friendships, and grow in their faith.
Implements safety systems and procedures to ensure every child experiences a secure and welcoming environment.
Leads post-event evaluation and improvement strategies to strengthen future camps.
